Spaceflight with a Dynamic Camera
The spaceflight felt really static because the camera was rigidly fixed with the orientation of the spaceship and at a set distance. To address this I’ve added a spring style camera which gives the effect of lagging slightly behind the position of the spaceship. This helps give a sense of the movement of the spaceship and also moves the spaceship out of the centre of the screen which may help later on if I add things to target.
