A quick flythrough of an asteroid belt in Pulsar Kick.

Asteroid belts add visual variety and give the player obstacles to navigate around. Longer term, I want them to support mining resources and asteroid-based space stations, but for now they are already a nice addition to star systems.

The video also shows the radar and in-flight communication system, which puts the player into a controlled flight loop while talking with NPCs.

This marks a transition away from Swift. I have now ported the code to C++ because maintaining Swift Playgrounds compatibility was becoming a performance limitation. I may strip back the old version and release a simplified variant at some point.
